The Municipal Government Academy of North Dakota (MGA) awards three $1,000 college scholarships to students in the spring of each year. Students must be between the ages of 17 and 22, be a child or grandchild of a current city employee or elected city official and be a registered full-time student in an accredited North Dakota university, college or vocational/technical certification program.

MGA will hold two fundraising activities for the scholarship fund during the 2023 Annual Conference.

50/50 Raffle
We will be selling 50/50 tickets on Thursday, September 21, only. All proceeds will go towards the Jan Jordan Scholarship Fund. The winner will be announced at the social on September 21. Tickets will be sold for $1 each and you must be present at the social to win. 

Silent Auction
Sponsors, vendors, cities and individuals can donate a silent auction item. Items may be dropped off during registration for Annual Conference before 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21. Please clearly label the donation with your name, organization or city. Silent auction winners will be notified the evening of Thursday, September 21. Checks for silent auction items are payable to Municipal Government Academy of North Dakota.
